Welcome to My Journey in Public Health Communication
As a kid, I was obsessed with drawing and curious about how people stayed healthy. My interests led me to pursue a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Public Health from CSUN and USC, but I missed the creativity in my work. Right after my undergraduate degree, I worked at Keck Medicine of USC, venturing into healthcare and marketing, laying the groundwork for becoming a graphic designer.
Since then, I’ve leveraged my background in Public Health to create over 50 pieces of multimedia content for organizations like the LA County Department of Public Health, the LA County Aging and Disabilities Department, the International Atomic Energy Agency, and others. I enjoyed the process so much that I pursued more freelance healthcare design and writing opportunities.
